Hey yall! I'm Melissa of Melissa Captures Photography. I am a military wife, mother to two wonderful children and a fur baby, and a photographer. When I'm not chasing kiddos, editing or watching old shows on Netflix I am out and about experiencing the Sicilian culture. I may hail from Virginia but home is wherever the military sends us.

Photography gives me a creative outlet that I can share with the world. It is more than just snapping a picture. It is movement, it is laughter, it is strength, joy and love. It is the newness of your young family, the joy of being reunited and the connection between generations. Photography is a vision that may start in my mind but becomes art through the developing of the raw product into a finished photograph.
